Lisa Campbell Playing It Together Update - 2011

Sorry we haven't been in touch for a while as we know that a lot of you are very interested to know what is happening with Playing It Together after such a successful (and exciting) year in 2009.

Paul Dean Thank you

Thank you to all participants in Playing It Together 2009. I am on such a 'high' after the last three days. Thanks to Arts Queensland and QPAC. Thanks to Patricia Pollett, Louise King and Stephen Emmerson who were such excellent and professional adjudicators, colleagues and mentors. See you all in 2010. Andrew Wrangell United News Syndicate is finished!

Over Saturday and Sunday I finished my concert band piece entitled 'United News Syndicate', which I had started about three weeks prior to that but hadn't finished. The idea behind the piece was to somehow put together all the free-to-air news themes (ABC, SBS, Seven, Nine and Ten) together in one piece of music.
